Areion Assets Management Private Limited serves as the investment manager and ACAIPL Investment and Financial Services Private Limited (formerly known as ACAIPL Corporate Advisors (India) Private Limited) is the sponsor of the fund.

The investment objective of the Fund is to carry on the activity of a ‘Category II AIF’ and generate long term capital appreciation and yield (commensurate to the risk profile of the assets) by investing in debt and/or equity securities in companies or assets of companies in India that are experiencing financial stress or distress, or showing a potential for distress; real estate assets and, debt securities, equity securities, quasi equity, mezzanine debt and / or security receipts issued under the various schemes of trusts declared by Asset Reconstruction Companies (“ARCs”) or other permitted financial entities, and/or instruments.
